Comsip covers a wide range of technical fields, with particular expertise in:
1949
Creation at Vesinet (Ile-de-France). Comsip automation is positioned on the niche of tooling specific to the oil industry (straps, special pliers) and then in instrumentation. Comsip, which originally means Construction, Tooling, Special Machinery for the Oil Industry is expanding its activities in the nuclear sector.
1957
The company designs and implements the regulating and instrumentation unit of the plant in Marcoule (Gard) and then the plant of Pierrelatte (Drôme) in 1959. It then installs the distributed control system of the first French nuclear power plants.
1960
Comsip exported and worked in Hassi-Messaoud in Algeria, which marked the beginning of a major development in exports in oil and gas.
1975
Comsip bought the company Bailey and became a major player in industrial control systems
1978
Comsip established a permanent training center : CATEX
1979
The company intervenes on the site of Kourou and participates in the launch of Ariane 1.
1980
CGEE ALSTHOM takes control of Comsip Enterprise and all its subsidiaries, especially internationally.
1988
The ALSPA-ZS is launched, a system that deal with all regulation, automation and driving.
1989
CGEE ALSTHOM change its name to CEGELEC. Comsip becomes over the years a department of CEGELEC specialized in technical assistance.
2010
CEGELEC is consolidated in the accounts of VINCI Group
2014
Comsip becomes a full-fledged company, entirely dedicated to technical assistance.
