An independent, non-profit organisation called Ingenieure ohne Grenzen e.V. works to promote development cooperation and ensure that all people have access to the necessities of life. Water, electricity, and sanitation are the main areas of focus for the organisation.

Omexom Hochspannung GmbH recently donated to the organisation to help in the funding of the project.
